This page is still under construction so be patient.

On this page I will try to give you the best information I have gathered on cooling your 3Dfx card if you over clock it, and as much info on tweaking you GL Quake set up to get the most out of it. In my quest for speed/frames per second I came across many web sights with some good information on cooling 3Dfx cards when you over clock them and will share it with you here.

First off you need to know how to overclock you Mac 3Dfx card, the 3Dfx Tweaker by Andreas Varga's is currently the only way you can overclock your 3Dfx card in the Mac. Once you do that though the 3Dfx cards processors can get very hot and damage your card, thats where a cooling fan and heat sinks come in.

There are many differnt ways to set up a fan to cool your card. One is to buy a fan from 3dfxcool.com, he has fans for all different types of cards. I bought one from him but decided I wanted to make my own once I saw the concept. Below you'll see links to the different setups that I made.
