In case I haven't made it obvious by now, I am more than willing to take commissions via this site. I'll draw almost anything, it doesn't even have to be furry. However, furry faandom is the target audience this site is directed towards. I'm even willing to present an option that I've not seen any other artist offer: a full size page of panel to panel art featuring your character. Pretty nifty, eh? As I said before, I'll draw almost anything but there are a few things I won't draw. Please note that these restrictions only apply to commissions received via this site. Ask me in person with proof of age and I may be a little more open-minded.
Nudity: I gave this a lot of thought and finally decided that I wouldn't take orders for nudes via this site. My reason for this is that I want to avoid a lawsuit. Oh sure, you could send me a piece of paper saying that you're over 18, but in a court of law it's just a piece of paper. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Just so we're clear on things, by nudity I mean ALL nudity. This includes topless females, sorry.
Now this doesn't mean I won't do nudes. There are two ways around this little restriction. The first is "cartoon nudity", which basically means the character won't be anatomically correct. The other option is "creative blocking", which basically means that everything will be there, you just won't be able to see it because someone or something will be in the way.
Sex: The reason for this is the same as the reason I won't do nudity, I would rather avoid a lawsuit. The difference between this and nudity is that I'm not as likely to do a sex scene if you ask me in person. This doesn't mean I won't, it just means that you have to ask me at the right time. On the other hand, I have no problem with drawing characters who are intimate and enjoying each others company.
Graphic Violence: This is a more personal thing on my part. I just don't think this kind of thing is necessary. I have no problem showing combat, just don't ask me to show you're character ripping out another character's intestines with their teeth.
Characters belonging to other people: This one is a little trickier for me to enforce so we'll have to work on the honor system here. If you would like me do draw a picture of your character with another person's character, please ask them if it's okay first. If you can send me a note from that person saying they don't mind, even better. I will not knowingly draw another person's character for you, at least not without their permission in writing first.
With that out of the way, here's how this works. First you send a description of your character along with payment in the form of a postal money order to the address provided. Second I send you the finished art work. Simple, isn't it.
Now some of you may be curious about why I'm requesting payment up front in the form of postal money orders. To be honest, I've been burned once too often in the past by not getting paid for art I've provided. The reason for postal money orders is that I will have no problem getting it cashed and you will have a receipt of the transaction. Please remember to include $3.00 for postage and handling.
Now here are your options:
| Character Illustration 8 1/2" x 11", inked | $15.00 | ||||||||
| Character Illustration 11" x 14", inked | $25.00 | ||||||||
| Character Illustration 14" x 17", inked | $35.00 | ||||||||
|
|||||||||
| Single page panel to panel, inked Art size 10" x 15" | $75.00 | ||||||||
And now COLOR.
That's right I have finally discovered the wonders of computer coloring. The cost for color work has been included in the table above. All color work will be printed out on 8-1/2 x 11 at 300dpi; a 72dpi JPG will also be sent if you have e-mail.
Please note that this address will probably change when I can afford a P.O. Box.
Or if you have any questions, I can also be reached at: (wom-bat@visi.com)
All art work ordered via this site will be done on some sort of cardstock. Exactly what kind of cardstock will depend on what I have available at the time.
Turnaround time for art work will depend on how many prior orders I have when an order arrives. Larger pieces and panel to panel work by their very nature will take a little longer.
The buyer retains all rights to the art work, though I reserve the right to use any art work I produce for self promotional purposes. That basically means I can use the art as long as I don't make any money off it.
