(16) Lewis was killed in a car wreck as a fairly young man. In his
father's obituary (September 25, 1943), he was listed as "Captain Lewis
M. Jones, Medical Corps U. S. Army, now in England."
He was married to Ouida Fort.(1) Lewis and his brother John Allen were very good friends. They married on the same day in 1940. Their wives were also good friends.
