8. Addie May Jones ⁽¹⁾ was born on 16 May 1868 in Oak Bowery, Chambers Co., Alabama.⁽⁸⁾ She died on 17 Dec 1930 in Atlanta, Fulton Co., Georgia.⁽⁸⁾ She was buried in Rosemere Cemetery, Opelika, Alabama. ⁽¹⁾

She was born at the plantation in Oak Bowery. She attended private school there and later moved with her family to Opelika where she went to the private school of Reverend D. M. Banks, retired Methodist minister who later performed her marriage ceremony.

She was married to Claudius Isadore Daughtry on 18 Dec 1889 in First Methodist Church, Opelika, Alabama.⁽⁸⁾ Claudius Isadore Daughtry was born on 5 Jan 1867. ⁽⁸⁾⁽¹⁾ He died on 24 Feb 1901 in Opelika, Lee Co., Alabama. ^{(1)(8) (3)} Addie May Jones and Claudius Isadore Daughtry had the following children:

+22 i. Allie Leonora Daughtry.
23 ii. Henry Lawrence Daughtry was born on 29 Dec 1893. ⁽¹⁾ He died on 9 Feb 1894.⁽¹⁾
24 iii. (Infant Son) Daughtry was born on 11 Apr 1896. ⁽¹⁾ He died.⁽¹⁾ He died at birth.
