1. Colonel Jesse D. Havis served in the military in Winnsboro, Fairfield Co., SC.⁽¹⁾

He was married to Mary Willingham.⁽¹⁾ Colonel Jesse D. Havis and Mary Willingham had the following children:

+2 i. Minor Winn Havis.
3 ii. Jesse D. Havis Jr.⁽²⁾.
4 iii. Obediah B. Havis⁽²⁾ was also known as Obed.⁽²⁾ He served in the military. ⁽²⁾ He was commissioned a Lieutenant in the 4th Division, 9th Brigade, 13th Regiment, July 12, 1821, in Alabama. He came to Alabma with his brother, Minor Winn Davis.
