Funeral services for Daniel Paul Thole, 50, of Willmar, were 10:30 a.m. Mon., Dec. 27 at First Baptist Church in Willmar. Burial was in Cloverleaf Cemetery.

He died Tues., Dec. 21 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis following an auto accident.

He was born Sept. 6, 1954, in Benson, to Lawrence and Ardena (VanderWeyst) Thole. He grew up near Benson and attended rural school District 25 and graduated from Benson High School in 1972.

He was united in marriage May 18, 1974 to Marilyn Chevalier at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Clontarf. They lived in Willmar and the surrounding area.

Survivors include: his wife of Willmar; daughters, Melissa (and Matt) Wenberg of Willmar, Danielle (and Eric) Watson of Sacred Heart; sons, Adam (and Ashley) Thole of Prinsburg and Jacob Thole of Willmar; three grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Pat (and Joe) Wesley of Hutchinson, Mike (and Vic) Thole of Benson, Leo (and Shell) Thole of Brooklyn Park, Lawrence Jr. “Butch” (and Sherrie) Thole of Ramsey, James Thole of Glenwood, Terry (and Elaine) Thole of Pennock and Mary (and Wayne) Maus of Benson; and a sister-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Mark and Daniel’s twin brother, David, and a granddaughter."
