"Ruth Erma “Tudy” Erdman, 65, of Benson
Funeral services for Ruth Erma “Tudy” Erdman, 65, of Benson and formerly of Appleton were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Holloway with Pastor Joel Kotila officiating. Organist was Judy Suckow and soloist was Dennis Kohlman.
She died Thursday evening, March 6 at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital.
Pallbearers were Jeff Fish, Alan Golden, Brad Jaeger, Dennis Radtke, Verlan Radtke and Roy Schnitzler. Burial was in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
She was born June 28, 1937 at Hegbert Township, Swift County to Albert and Pauline (Kohlman) Radtke. She was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Holloway. She graduated in 1957 from the Holloway High School.
She was united in marriage July 4, 1958 to Orville Erdman in Benson. She worked as a waitress at the local cafes. They lived in Appleton until Feb. 2001 when they moved to Benson.
Among things she enjoyed were playing cards, reading, puzzles and playing bingo.
Survivors include: a daughter, Lori (and Kent) Peterson of Benson; a brother, Elmer Radtke of Appleton; a nephew and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Oct. 2, 2002 and a brother, Alvin Radtke."
