Arsene married Caroline Gauthier, daughter of John Baptiste Gauthier and Cecilia Clermont, on 30 April 1876 in Glencoe, McLeod, Minnesota.1 2 (Caroline Gauthier was born on 24 May 1857 in West St. Paul, Dakota, Minnesota Territory 2, christened on 12 July 1857 in St. Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota Territory,2 died on 19 April 1941 in Grand Forks, Grand Forks, North Dakota 2 and was buried on 21 April 1941 in Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks, Grand Forks, North Dakota 2.) The cause of her death was diabetes.2
