"Mrs. Anthony McCoy, of Grey Cloud, died Tuesday evening of consumption, aged fifty years, leaving a husband and family of grown up children, five sons and three daughters. She was a resident of that town. The funeral was held from the house on Thursday, at two p.m."

Jane married Antoine McCoy. (Antoine McCoy was born in October 1830 in British America,⁶ died on 7 May 1913 in Newport, Washington, Minnesota ⁷ and was buried on 8 May 1913 in Grey Cloud Island Cemetery, Grey Cloud Island Township, Washington, Minnesota ⁷.) The cause of his death was senile debility.
