Paul married Angeline Turpin, daughter of Baptiste Turpin and Jane McCoy, about 1865.1 (Angeline Turpin was born on 7 July 1846 in Iowa Territory,10 died on 19 December 1915 in Newport, Washington, Minnesota 10 and was buried on 21 December 1915 in Grey Cloud Island Cemetery, Grey Cloud Island Township, Washington, Minnesota 10.) The cause of her death was pneumonia.2
