"Lolita Florence (Van Hoven) Apo
Apo, Lolita Florence - (Nee Van Hoven) Age 86, Of Honolulu Died May 11, 2004 at home. Born in St. Paul, MN, she attended St. Mark's Grade School and graduated high school from St. Joseph Academy in 1935. She worked for the State of Minnesota from 1936 to 1941. She then lived in California during the war and worked at Douglas Aircraft in Santa Monica until 1945 and then for the Wood Conversion Company to 1951. She moved to Hawaii in 1951 and married John Apo in 1953. She belonged to Holy Trinity Parish where she was outreach coordinator for many years. Lita will always be remembered as a very honest and caring person, devout Catholic and loving mother/grandmother. Survived by daughters, Malia DeRamos and Jeannine Johnson; 7 grandchildren; brother, Edward Van Hoven. Interment in Honolulu. Donations can be made to The Oratory, C/O Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 5919 Kalanianaole Hwy, Honolulu, HA 96821."

She is survived by daughters Malia DeRamos and Jeannine Johnson, brother Edward Van Hoven and seven grandchildren. Mass: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Call after 10 a.m. Private burial. No flowers. No monetary offerings. Donations suggested to the Oratory, c/o Holy Trinity Catholic Church."
