Amalia married Johan Peter Mattisson, son of Mattis Svensson and Botil Jönsdotter, in 1888. (Johan Peter Mattisson was born on 30 December 1863 in Kolshult, Eringsboda, Blekinge, Sweden 8 9, christened on 10 January 1864 in Tving, Blekinge, Sweden,10 died on 19 June 1948 in Braham, Isanti, Minnesota 11 12 and was buried on 23 June 1948 in Royalton M. E. Cemetery, Braham, Isanti, Minnesota 13.) The cause of his death was coronary occlusion.1
