  General Notes:

"...was an enigma, a dilemma. He was as good as he was bad and vice-versa...He never had a music lesson #1 but he could play a tune on most any instrument, and was quite proficient on the guitar. He accompanied himself very well and was a good singer. He could sing harmony to most anything. It just came to him naturally. He played the piano backwards, i.e. the melody on the lower notes with his left hand and chords with his right hand...He had so much potential and his later life was such a waste. He died alone and penniless." 8
