There's some doubt about his name; the 1900 US census is indistinct but appears to be "Eszas". In the 1910 census it looks like "Azras"; in the 1920 census it is "Esdras" as it is in 1930. The Social Security Death Index lists "Estes"; an Internet website lists him as "Azarius-Eszias".
