Benjamin Otto Ziegahn ¹

  General Notes:

Benjamin Ziegahn was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin to German parents. He graduated from Lawrence College of Appleton, Wisconsin. At the time of his death, he was living at 1606 Hewitt Ave, St. Paul, Minnesota. He was apparently married to Eva as she is listed as his widow and she used Ziegahn as her last name at Inga's funeral in 1946. He was David Allan Lundgren's father but was not married to Alice. He died just two weeks after Dave was born. His father died two months after that. Lilie is listed in the obituaries as being from Milwaukee, but according to Dave's baby book Alice and David visited her in St. Paul in October, 1945. -- Gwen Lundgren. ¹

Benjamin married Eva Alvilda Nelson, daughter of Andrew Nelson and Anne Marie Maanum, before 1943.¹ (Eva Alvilda Nelson was born on 7 August 1889 in Hancock, Stevens, Minnesota,^{8 9 10} died on 7 March 1966 in St. Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota ^{8 9 11} and was buried on 11 March 1966 in Roselawn Cemetery, Roseville, Ramsey, Minnesota ¹⁰.) The cause of her death was cardiac failure.
