General Notes: Ellen Maanum told us that Kari came to America on a sail boat with her brother Knut and sister Ragnild. They settled in Manitowac, Wisconsin. She married Knute Maanum in 1869 and they moved to Pope County, Minnesota in 1871 by wagon and horses. They had ten children.
