The Update Log

2000 May 29: Added dedication to military pages, and added a paragraph to a squirrely chattering. I've been pruning the links now and then, so they have changed.

1998 March 17: Decided to reorganize World in Flames optional rules under the heading of Option 70, changed the escort carrier rule, and added a US light cruiser rule.

1998 January 8: Decided to start adding update dates to pages as they become updated. I've added strategy notes on Analysis of Maneuver, War is not a Science, Why War is Expensive, Command Push vs. Recon Pull. Added a squirrely chattering on the naming of a country.

1997 December 1: Since Benoit was ending his World in Flames Unofficial Home Page, I decided to host some of his material, so now I have a World in Flames Page

1997 October 31: Updated some links, and signed up for the Gold Key campaign for communications privacy. I thought this warranted a statement about why.

1997 October 23: Updated the web address of the Association of Lisp Users. FWIW, I'll probably have to update it again soon, as they're getting their own domain name.

1997 October 17: Changed "squirrely comments" to "squirrely chatterings". (My thanks to my wife for this suggestion.) Added some thoughts on the Hero role-playing system.

1997 October 11: Rewrote the copyright and Any Browser pages to get a better format.

1997 October 6: Changed all "curmudgeon" references to "squirrel" references. This included directory changes. My apologies if anybody has actually linked to these pages.

1997 August 11: Added a section, under philosophy, on thinking clearly.

1997 July 31: Added several squirrelly comments, on the naming of sciences, affirmative action, the elimination of jobs, and why managers act stupid. I also reformatted the links page, adding a new books section. Having a bit of extra time, I added book recommendations.

1997 July 18: Added a refutation of Searle's Chinese Room argument.

1997 July 9: Started a role-playing section.

1997 July 7: More, smaller, changes to the World War II pages, mostly trying to break up the information into more manageable units. Added a squirrel comment.

1997 July 1: Changed the structure of the World War II pages, so if you had any bookmarked you may have to change that. Added a squirrel comment.

1997 June 30: Added two articles, On Initiative and Transforming Advantages to my military strategy page.

1997 June 29: Revamped my resume, put WebTechs validation on my main home page.

1997 June 27: Made changes to the assembler language squirrel comment, adding a section on educational value.

1997 June 25: First announced the website.
