The strength of God

Dear Friends,

Jehova es bueno, fortalece en el dia de angustia, y conoce a los que en el confian. Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, he gives strength in the day of anguish, he knows those who trust in him. Nahum 1:7 I found this very true over this past week as the days of missionary service came to a close and I left very dear loved ones and a life I enjoy in Belize. The Lord's enabling grace and strength were obvious. He kept me together amidst the emotional pain and grief. Thank you for upholding me in prayer.

Leaving

Dear Friends,

I write to ask for your prayers for God's enabling grace and strength as I leave my precious spiritual family here in Belize. I will depart on Monday afternoon. This is a very painful and difficult separation for me.

Throne of Grace

Dear Friends,

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I write to ask for your prayers for me. Next week Thursday, 31 October will be my last day of work in the clinic. After that, I will also begin phasing out of the church ministries I have been involved in and have about 6 weeks to prepare farewell gifts and notes, make farwell visits, spend quality time with friends, and take care of all of the other preparations for packing up and leaving this beloved country of Belize. I know that it is the prayers of so many of you that have helped to make the work of my hands so fruitful here over these past 5 years. I would ask for your prayers now as I get into the nitty gritty of the actual leaving process. This is a heartwrenching, painful and lonely process.
