Jacob Ingram, son of Valentine Ingram and Hannah Rouse , was born November 13,1824. He married Sarah Ann Hoover October 20, 1847 in Minister: Levi R. Morrison. He died April 19, 1905. Sarah Ann Hoover was born February 11, 1825. She died November 09, 1900.

Jacob Ingram learned the tanners trade at Old Gladespring, VA. He ran a
tan yard and harness shop at Friendship, VA. for a number of years and
was postmaster there at one time.
