(Obituary) Mrs. G. Hintz of Near Alden Passes Away

Long Time Sufferer From Cancer of the Stomach Died Shortly Before Ten
O'clock This Morning.

This morning shortly before 10 o'clock Mrs. Godfrey Hintz of near
Alden passed away at her home. She had been a long time sufferer from
cancer of the stomach.
Besides her husband she leaves six children to mourn her loss. Four
of the children are at home. Emil Hintz and family live near Armstrong,
Minn., and Mrs. Clarence Katz of Des Moines, Iowa.
The funeral will take place Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the
farm home and at 1:30 o'clock from the Mansfield Lutheran church. Rev.
Lechner will officiate.

Emma moved from Wisconsin to a farm near Myrtle about 1877 or 1878 -
log house on farm. Two years later built a frame house. Timber wolves
were in the area.
