Christening records, 1856-1874, Ev Church, Gramenz, Pommern. FHL film
1193866 no 123. Godparents were Micheael Mielke, Henriette Jahnke, and
Wilhelmine Agathe Tetzlaff.
Hanne's death record states she was survived by her husband and six
children. She died at 6:15 in the morning from complications of
childbirth. (Lois Heidner research)
Information on Theodor is the death document from Sparsee. It gives us
his birth and death dates. He was born in Storkow but there is a gap in
the records of Gramenz for that year. This record tells us that he died
at 8:30 in the forenoon. His age was 16 years 4 months. (Lois Heidner

Per Elfrieda Zibell Brustman, daughter of Herman's sister Olga, Herman
went into the military service sometime after 1886. His plans had been
to imigrate to America with sister Ida in 1886, but he changed his mind
and went into the military. Olga emigrated with Ida in his place. The
family possesses a photo of him in his uniform.
Reinhold died on the day of baptism. The cause of death may have been
cramps or croup - I am not sure of the German script. His godparents
were David Zuehlke, farmer in Sparsee, Friedrich Kuchenbecker, half-share
farmer in Sparsee, and Wilhelmine Waldow. Birth was at 5 in the morning.

Hanne, who was named after her mother, was born at 9 in the morning. Her
Godparents were Emilie Engfor, Wilhelmine Meyer and Carl Meyer, all of
Sparsee.
Hanne was 2 months and 13 days old at the time of death, and only 10 days
old when her mother died.
