I'm not sure when this building was constructed (or what it might have been originally), but in 1951 Harry Mogenson established "Mogenson Garage and Dairy Supplies" here. Al Vierling purchased the business in 1980 and operated it until 1998. Typical garage stuff with auto parts, general repairs, etc. I'm not really sure what it is now (or if it's even still open). But in any case, this seems like a likely "turn back the clock" candidate. There's plenty of quonset hut kits out there, so modeling this building should be pretty easy.
There's a short side-street running east from here (Hope's one and only) with a couple of houses on it. I may or may not decide to ignore all that when it comes time to actually make a layout out of this mess - it just depends on what all fits.
