I don't know much about the history of this place. About all I can piece together is that these buildings used to be part of the Hope Coop Oil complex. The cooperative was sold to the Hope Creamery in the 1970s and then to the Steele County Trail Association (groomers of ATV and snowmobile trails) in 2001. In any case, it all looks pretty straightforward (kitbash, scratchbuild, whatever).
That's pretty much it for this side of the street and northward. There is a collection of houses and farm buildings a little further north of here (all originally part of the Srsen farm, established circa 1875). However, they're a fair distance off the main drag. And since I don't have infinite amounts of space to work with (and don't really want to drive up their long driveway to take pictures), I think I'll just pretend they're not there.
