These models were initially imported by MRC (starting back in the late 60's) and later on by Con-Cor and Minitrix/Model Power. Roco got out of the North American N scale biz some time in the early 2000's, so this model is no longer in production.
The wheels are metal and the couplers are body-mounted Rapidos. The early imports (MRC and Minitrix) are stamped "MRC Austria" on the bottom. The later Con-Cor imports are simply stamped "Austria".
I'm told that this model was based on a Harriman Common Standard CA prototype.
