This simplified version of the Minitrix/Roco cupola caboose was part of the "Red Ball Express" toy trainset marketed by Aurora crica 1977. I've never actually owned the set (or the caboose), but I'm told at least some of the pieces are stamped "Mexico". Anyway, it's plastic toy junk and not suited for use on a Model Railroad.
