This is where I keep a record of all of the changes that I have made to my various pages. I had never anticipated including such a thing when I first started creating web pages, but after visiting various pages on the Internet I came to realize that it's really, really nice to be able to see what changes have been made since the last visit. You may notice that there are a few entries dated before the entry in which I announce the arrival of the Updates page. This is not an error! I added the Updates page after the other stuff.
Most Recent Update: September 18, 2002
5/22/02 - Another rapid update. But don't get yer hopes up - it's just Galus. ^_^ Galus's interview has been added to my El-Hazard interviews page. He has also been moved from his old category to the Royal Court category. Really, he fits better there, I think, even if he isn't technically even Roshtarian, let alone a member of the Royal Court. I also slightly adjusted the dialogue in Londs's interview, as Galus's is now sitting in the spot where his used to be. I doubt anyone'll notice the difference, though. Queen Diva is still scheduled next, unless I do Ura. I'm thinking of moving Ura to the Royal Court section, too, but it's getting a little crowded...
5/14/02 - Three quarters of a year, this time! My powers of procrastination know no bounds, it seems... At least this time I have some meat for you, even if not a whole lot of it. First, and most important, Alielle's interview page has been completed! Hers was a tough one - I hit mental block after mental block while trying to figure out what to do with her, and I hope that the results are satisfactory. The next scheduled interview is Queen Diva, though I may do one of the Shadow Tribe bunch, instead, just 'cause they'll be short and (hopefully) easy. The other part of my update involves a little Final Fantasy X blurb that I've added to my fanfiction page. It's pretty much a summary of the timeline for the game, but done in a humorous fashion. A few more Bishomon have also been added to my Bishodex - plus, I have defeated the all of the Pocket Bishoujo Gym Leaders, as well as the Elite Four, and earned my rank as a Bishoujo Master! ^_^V I guess it wasn't that small an update after all.
8/31/01 - Has it really been almost half a year since my last update? This is becoming a bad habit... I wish I could say that I have enough new stuff to offer to make up for a six-month lapse, but that's just not the case. Curse you, Diablo II, for sucking my life awaaaaay! Anyway, I've added many new Bishoujo and Bishonen, new gym badges, and new awards to my Bishodex page, and also added chapter two of my "Bishomon! Gotta Catch 'Em All" story to my fanfiction page. Oh, and I finished the Afura interview. ^_^ I've also moved Alielle to her proper place alongside Princess Fatora on the interview page, and all you Alielle afficionados can expect to see her interview next, once I get around to writing it!
3/13/01 - It's time for another update. It's not as large as the last, but hey, it hasn't been three months either. This time, I've added two new fanfics to my fanfiction page. The first is a Tenchi Muyo/Sailor Moon/Magic Knights Rayearth crossover that I wrote, called "Mayuka's Day Out". That's right, TM/SM/MKR. Check it out, if that's enough to catch your interest. (Heck, check it out anyway! ^_^) The other fic is the first chapter of what could be an ongoing series of stories based on Pocket Bishoujo and Pocket Bishonen. The title of this one is "Bishomon! Gotta Catch 'Em All". Okay, so it's not the most original of names. In other news, I updated my Tenchi Muyo stub page, which claimed that I hadn't seen Pretty Sammy or all of Tenchi in Tokyo (both statements have been false for many months now). I added a new Bishonen to my Bishodex, and fixed a minor glitch on my El-Hazard page. That's it for this update! No Afura interview yet, but it's just a matter of time, as always.
2/28/01 - Uh, Happy New Year? ^_^;; I promised myself that I would not post another update until the Shayla-Shayla interview was done. Theoretically, this would cause me to write it faster. In reality, it ended up causing a three-month hiatus. But it IS done! Go to my El-Hazard Characters page and check it out! I've done a bunch of other stuff, too. I spruced up the El-Hazard Characters page to make it look a little more attractive - there are now pictures of the characters, as well as their names. I've added several new Bishies to my Bishodex page. I've added a new piece of fanart to my "Halftime" fanart page - it's a cool picture featuring the character Robo in both his robot and girl forms. I've also corrected a bunch of technical glitches in most of my El-Hazard pages, but most of you probably won't notice them. Oh, and I've played a whole lot of Diablo II. Oh, wait - I wasn't supposed to mention that. :P Well, the next update will, hopefully, include Afura Mann's interview, as well as a new chapter of my El-Hazard fanfic, but don't hold yer breath.
11/22/00 - Sorry, no Shayla-Shayla yet. For some reason, it's just not coming to me... But I haven't been idle. Over the past couple of weeks, I've finished not one, but TWO new pieces of fanfiction. One is a very short Tenchi Muyo piece called "The Oldest Trick in the Book", and the other is the first chapter of an El-Hazard series that I've named "Wandering Souls". They're both on my fanfic page, though I'll eventually have a link to the El-Hazard story somewhere on my El-Hazard page (I've just gotta figure out where...). In addition to all that, I've added a page for my growing collection of Pocket Bishoujo and Bishonen on my main page. Hopefully, this break into other projects will help to get the mental gears turning for me. Happy Thanksgiving, to all you American readers!
10/26/00 - Just a tiny update this time, to let you in on a small but incredibly cute addition to my Artifacts of El-Hazard page: Ifurita Kitties! Have no idea what I'm talking about? Then take a look for yourself! ^_^ For those of you champing at the bit for Shayla-Shayla's interview, it's coming along nicely - I've got the script about half finished, and that's always the toughest part.
10/16/00 - Er, eheh... Hi, everybody. I'm back! It's been a long summer, but I DO have quite an update in store! First off, "Halftime" has now been completely updated, and is hopefully in its final state. (The story, that is - I'm still happy to receive fanart and stuff, so don't worry about that!) But apart from that, I've made some significant additions to my El-Hazard pages. First off, Miz Mishtahl's interview is FINALLY up! I actually coulda had it up a month ago (I had the script written and everything), but then I found to my horror that I didn't have enough screen captures to fill OAV Miz's parts. Worse, the software that I use to collect my screen captures was broken. After much hassle, I got it fixed, got my pics (and filled out a few of the other characters' that looked a bit sparse, so that this wouldn't happen again - I hope), and got it put together. I hope you like it! But wait, there's more! I've added a new page to my collection, called "Artifacts of El-Hazard". This is where I'm going to be putting all the extra El-Hazard stuff that I collect - like downloadable goodies and awards and whatever. Right now, it contains my Pocket Bishojou Ifurita and TV Ifurita. But more interesting, it contains a Winamp skin that I built over the summer. I'm really proud of it! It's something no El-Hazard fan with a Winamp player should be without! (Well, I'd like to think so, anyway...) Next update: Shayla-Shayla's interview, but I don't know when!
5/2/00 - Well, it's been over a month now, and I really wish that I could say I had something to show for it... But I don't. :P It's been a rough time for me - one of my friends went through a pretty major life crisis, and I wanted to help him out. Sadly, that didn't leave me much time for updating. Don't worry, I haven't given up on this or anything - but I'm not sure when I'm going to have time to devote serious effort to my web pages. I may do some work on Miz's page this week, but no promises. On the bright side, my Internet space difficulties have been dealt with (my apologies to anyone who tried to access my pages a few days after my disk space problems - some of my files were temporarily lost in the confusion, but they're all running now). And, just so you don't feel completely cheated by this update, I've added the updated version of "Halftime" Chapter 12, as well as a FANART page for "Halftime"! Real fanart! I'm not used to getting fanart, and I sure as heck can't draw my own... Anyway, check it out!
3/29/00 - Sorry, no Miz this week. It would seem that I've run into a small problem: I'm out of disk space on my Internet account! Don't worry, it's a simple matter to get some more, but until I do, I'm afraid that I will not be posting any major updates. In the mean time, I've made a few minor ones. First off, I've updated my main page slightly, to reflect the present as it is now rather than as it was a half a year ago (for instance, my brother is no longer in Japan, and my sister is now a black belt in Karate). I've also made a few cosmetic changes to a few of my other pages. More significantly, however, there is now a new "Ranma ½" fanfic on my fanfic page, entitled "Deliverance". It has a somewhat unusual theme, but I think it turned out well. (And at any rate, it's ABOUT TIME that I finished another story. Sheesh. :P )
3/22/00 - Not bad... I seem to be managing an interview a week, which is about what I had hoped for. Dr. Schtalubaugh rawks the howse in the latest "El-Hazard" interview! Next up is man-hungry Miz Mishtahl, the Priestess of Water (finally, the priestesses!). In other news (yes, there actually IS stuff happening to my other pages - just not much stuff), I've made a few minor changes to my "Ranma ½" / "Chrono Trigger" crossover, "Halftime", hopefully the last set of significant changes I'll be making to the story. Very little of the content has changed. Mostly, I've just added starbreaks to separate scenes (sometimes the scene changes were a little too subtle, and easy to miss), and added quotes around thought dialogue (originally, thoughts were completely unadorned, which was quite confusing). So far I've only edited chapters 1 through 11, but I expect to finish off the rest over the next week or so.
3/15/00 - Added Londs's interview, not that that's any great achievement. It's pretty short, as might be expected (but still longer than Fatora's). Next interview, get funky, get yer groove on, and get ready to get down, cuz THA DOCKTAH IZ INNNNN!!! (Er, sorry about that. Got a bit carried away.)
3/8/00 - In a pathetic attempt to redeem myself after putting off the last interview for over a month, I worked frantically to put together the next interview in three days... Check it out! Rune Venus and Rune Venus face off in the latest interview. Next up (and it may be a bit, as I need to unwind from this one) is Londs, faithful retainer to the Roshtarian Royal Family!
3/5/00 - Has it really been nearly a month since my last update? Geez, I'm sorry. And after I promised rapid updating and everything! Real Life is to blame, of course, but I shouldn't have ever made a promise I couldn't keep... At any rate, people who have been faithfully watching my page will finally be rewarded! Jinnai's interview is now available on the character interview page. Additionally, there is now a link from the main "El-Hazard" page to this updates page, so that people who don't visit my main page will still have a way to keep up with changes on my "El-Hazard" pages! Next scheduled interview, unless I'm otherwise inspired, will be Rune Venus's interview.
2/10/00 - Several purely maintenance updates, this time - most viewers won't even notice them. Changed a picture I didn't like in Nanami's interview, and one in Mr. Fujisawa's, as well. Also changed exactly one word in Mr. Fujisawa's interview. :) On a more major note, I have changed the name of the main "El-Hazard" page, because I'm eventually going to want to use the title "Ifurita.htm" for Ifurita and Ifurita's interview. The new name of the page is "EHMain.htm", as anyone who tries to link to "Ifurita.htm" will be able to tell, until I finally get around to doing their interview. I also changed the names of all of the pictures on the Main and Characters pages to follow the sensible, numbered format that I've been using on all the Interview pages. Sorry that I don't have anything more substantial to add (especially after I promised rapid progress on this page), but I'm still not finished collecting additional OAV Ifurita pics, and I need them for Jinnai's Interview (which is the one I'm planning to do next).
1/30/00 - I managed to scrape together the time to create Mr. Fujisawa's interview. It's been added to the interview page. This is the first interview I've done that is hosted by the OAV version of Ifurita, rather than the TV version. Of course, doing this made me aware of something: I rather underestimated the number of OAV Ifurita pics in my inventory, so I'm gonna have to go back to my tapes and pick up some more. Glad I discovered this now, rather than when I attempted to do Ifurita's interview! Anyway, getting the pics could delay the release of the next interview a bit (the one I'm planning on doing next is Jinnai's, and I planned on having OAV Ifurita take part in that interview), but hopefully not more than a week or so.
1/24/00 - Okay, something REAL to report! Nanami's interview has been added, as promised. I also replaced a picture that I didn't like in Makoto's interview, and changed the font color in all the interviews so that they are (hopefully) more readable. Also, I disabled all of the dummy links on the main interview page, because they were annoying. :P Now, the only links that go anywhere are the ones for finished interviews. I'll be pretty busy this week, so I might not be able to write another interview, but you can expect them to show up much faster now (like, one or two a week, instead of one or two a year :) ).
1/21/00 - Again, only minor changes. Added a background to Makoto's interview page. Also made a SPOILER WARNING sign to use in places where spoilers are about to occur. I also changed the "Most Recent Update" line on the Updates page so that it is now in bold text. Looks flashier, doesn't it? :) I do have good news to report, however: I have finished creating a huge archive of character photos from every episode of the first "El-Hazard" OAV series, as well as the entire "Wanderers" TV series. This means that I finally have all the raw materials I need to complete all the interviews. All I need to do now is write them. And I HAVE written Nanami's! Expect to see that one real soon. I also now have enough Ifurita pics to narrate the "El-Hazard" summary pages, so I'll be writing those eventually, too.
1/5/00 - Ouch. It's been three months, now, and I'm afraid that I don't have much to show for it. Only minor updates, this time. Added Xelloss and Martina to the "Slayers" stub page, and also added labels to help differentiate between the characters in the "El-Hazard" character interviews (I'd noticed that even I, who made the page, sometimes had trouble telling which Makoto was talking). A few other minor tweaks were made to various pages. Still, work continues!
9/16/99 - Wow, two updates in two days! A record for me, I think. Pressed on in updating my "El-Hazard" character interviews, but was too lazy to do anything substantial. So, I added Fatora's interview, which is short, due both to her small role in the show, and the shortage of distinct pictures available.
9/14/99 - My first significant update to my "El-Hazard" page since its inception! Makoto and Makoto's interview has been added to the "People of El-Hazard" page, though it still needs a background.
5/19/99 - Added the Updates page. Added a link from Spanner's Lightside Homepage to the Updates page. Updated the text on the Dark Id stub page, and actually added a link to it from Spanner's page. Dark Id was not amused.
5/14/99 - Gave my former placeholder web page a major overhaul, finally replacing it with a rough version of a real home page. I named this home page "Spanner's Lightside Homepage". Created stub pages for the animes "Slayers", "Ranma ½", and "Tenchi Muyo", as well as an unfinished stub page for "Gargoyles", and added links to Spanner's Lightside Homepage to lead to them. Created a link and a web page for my fanfiction, added links leading from that fanfiction page to ALL my current finished fanfiction (at last), and also added a link leading from Spanner's page to "The Gargoyles Saga". Cleaned up all nonfunctional links on the various "El-Hazard" pages to lead to a dummy page. Was thoroughly beaten by my Dark Id for doing absolutely nothing to update his page.
Circa February, 1999 - Added a few pictures to "Ifurita and Ifurita's Dual El-Hazard Website". Contemplated actually putting real work into those pages, and failed.
Circa June, 1998 - The third incarnation of my web page finally opened. It consisted of two placeholder web pages, one for Spanner, and one for Dark Id, as well as a fairly advanced web page for "El-Hazard", called "Ifurita and Ifurita's Dual El-Hazard Website". The placeholder page for Spanner contained a link to my old web page, a link to the new "El-Hazard" page, and a link to the fanfic "Halftime". The Dark Id page contained only a link back to the Spanner page.
Circa February, 1998 - Finally got my new Internet account working. Contemplated moving my old website there, and decided instead to create a whole new page.
