Here We Go

September 7 - New England at Denver (-7), 45 over/under

I'll be impressed if New England wins this game. They don't have Curtis Martin, and I don't think they can go into Mile High Stadium (shouldn't that be Southwest Airlines Stadium or something) and win on a Monday Night.

So I'm taking the Broncos, even giving up a touchdown.

Well, they didn't impress me, but they did manage to screw me out of 55 by scoring a touchdown with under 2 minutes to go.

September 14 - San Fran (-5) at Washington, 43.5 over/under

Late in the game, if the Redskins are down by say, 10, and I need a late score to cover the spread, I don't want to put my faith in Trent Green (who?).

I'm sticking with the Niners.

Bless that Steve Young. So dependable to cover the spread. I didn't even think mormons liked to wager.

September 21 - Dallas at New York Giants (-4), 37 over/under

I hate rooting for Dallas. I'm not too fond of rooting for the Giants either, but I'm picking my poison.

In addition, I'm not a huge fan of Princeton athletics, and seeing the New York defense swarm over Jason Garrett will be worth the price of the pick.

I suck. Let's face it, Dallas is a better team, and they were getting points. A no brainer. I don't know what I was thinking.

September 28

Unfortunately, I missed the September 28 game between Tampa and Detroit. Or perhaps fortunately becauase I was going to pick Tampa. Anyway, I was busy moving to Holland and what not, so I wasn't able to write up the pick. I also missed next week.

Just another example of the careful planning that went into my move.
