¡Viva La Revolucion!

Ever since Fidel burst onto the scene witha whirlwind tour of America in 1958 before his dashing coup in 1959, revolutionaries everywhere have been enthralled with the casual elegance of Fidel's go-anywhere military chic.

Those things will kill ya.Nothing says style quite like a relaxing moment of Cognac and a fine cigar. And since the U.S. embargo of Cuba, our Man in Havana has simply cornered the market on Cuban stogies. New York steakhouse crowd, eat your heart out!

And another thing...

Make no mistake, despite being a major player in the Cold War, Fidel Castro never lost touch with the common man. His olive drab, unpretentious wardrobe has been an inspiration to blue collar works throughout Latin America, and around the world. Speaking of which, what world leader would not want to have this photo in their collection? Rubbing elbows with Kruschev, name-dropping with the politburo, those were the days!

Cute Russian Teddy Bear

United Nations From this shot, though, it looks like Fidel learned from the U.N. follies of wacky guys like Nikita. Fidel cuts a striking image here in a dress uniform that shows he is as comfortable at a photo shoot as on the shooting range.

Yes, he may not be a Super Model, but he is a Super Mole and we applaud his years as a succesful dictator and thorn in the side of the U.S.

¡Olé!

Lastly, I direct you to the following website. They do Fidel more justice than I ever could.
