You Mean They Had Spies There?

The Clinton administration's foreign policy is questionable at best. Despite cruise missile attacks against three countries in the last few months, one could hardly call recent efforts against Iraq to be a bang-up job.

Saddam's still there, right?

Now Iraq seems to have gotten some credence to their complaint that spies were involved in the UN Weapons Inspection team.

I may have felt that the US acted a bully in the past, but as I have no love for the current Iraqi regime, allow me to be the first to say, "No Shit!"

Of Course They're Spies, You Morons!

What do you think the chances are that an American trained in the production, storage, and distribution of chemical weapons has not at some point worked for the armed services or the CIA? Where do you think people get this knowledge?

This is not ham radio or sexual education we're talking about here. There are no amateur binary nerve agent experts, no anthrax hobbyists. Where else would you find these people?

That some French, British, and Russian inspectors also had ties to their respective intelligence communities only underscores this. They don't have any part time chemical weapons aficionados, either, it would seem.

This whole thing seems about as surprising as inviting snowboarders to the olympics , and then finding out that one of them tested positive for marijuana.

Saddam, if you want an argument against the US State Department, stay away from tautologies, and take the easy complaint.

The President is a known liar.
