Description of machine TRIZONE Tri-Zone starts off with the std. plunger shot to the top of the playfield. The ball has a choice of slots A or B or go around to the 3 Thumper Bumbers that reside directly below the slots A & B. The object is to spell the word TRI-ZONE. TRI is spelled via roll overs located thoughout the play field (I cannot remember their exact locations) ZONE is spelled via 4 drop targets located left, left middle, right middle, and right. These drop targets are great accuracy challenges from your main set of flippers. There are the standard one return lanes and one drain lane on both the left and right sides of the game. There is one out hole located up by the thumper bumpers. There are lanes located up the right and left sides of the playfield that allow you to get past the thumper bumpers and back up to the slots A & B. From your right flipper you could shoot the ball up the right hand side by-pass lane or to another lane just to the left of that one. This extra lane is neat because as the ball travels up the shoot it does a 180 at the end goes though a one-way gate and into the thumper bumpers for some serious action. The left by-pass lane has a spinner on it.
