It's been a long time since I've updated this page, and undoubtedly have forgotten many people over the years. There is no guarantee any of the e-mail addresses still work though the websites should still link.

Photos from LACon III by Stan Burns, copyright 1996 Southern California Institute for Fan Interests, Inc. There used to be a lot more pictures of LACon III, including many of Opening Ceremonies, Keep It Moving Ceremonies and Closing Ceremonies, on the official picture site and may still be somewhere on the Smithway site.

David Dyer-Bennet was invaluable in helping set up this site back in 1995 and unlocking the arcane secrets of Unix over the years. His web pages have links to various sf conventions and other stuff. DD-B has taken many pictures of me, some of which still float around this site and other places in fandom

The nifty Shockwave Logo was designed for the 25th Anniversary CD and appears in different forms on this website and on Shockwave cards and refrigerator magnets. They were designed by Steve Moutray. Some of the buttons found on this page and others were Macintosh finder icons designed by Dan Mikel especially for Shockwave. Thanks again, Dan! Other backgrounds and graphics are from different public resources, and some I made.

And of course, Shockwave wouldn't have a home without radio station KFAI-FM, Minneapolis. We're a non-profit organization so we can stream our feed over the internet and archive the shows!

The maps off DavE and Kim's Excellent Adventure In Mpls were generated from the web site MapQuest.
