Small Songbird Houses

These birdhouses look great in the yard or garden and make a unique gift. During the nesting season, you'll be entertained and serenaded by the birds in appreciation. They really are a lot of fun! You might just think you've got a wonderful new pet. Each house has a way to easily clean it out since birds tend not to use somebody else's nest. The houses also include a drainage hole so they cannot be flooded in a rainstorm and the cedar is naturally rot resistant and insulates from the hot sun and cold. Each has a copper ring around the entry hole so predators can't chew their way in and also so birds can't enlarge the entry hole. I hope you'll find them great to look at, entertaining during the nesting season and an excellent encouragement for having more songbirds around your home. Put it in front of a window so it's easy to keep an eye on the residents.

Houses can hang or go on a standard copper pole from 3/4" water pipe sold separately. I pound a length of rebar into the ground, slip the pole over it and the house on the pole. This allows you to lift it off again easily to clean out the house after the brood of little birds have left the nest. You can buy these from me (standard height, $12) but get them locally if the birdhouse is shipped to you.

Bird Feeders

In the same style as our bird houses, I make these bird feeders. I recommend you use a squirrel baffle for these feeders to prevent squirrel damage.

Cone Trellises

These all solid copper trellises for your clematis or annual vines look great in the garden. The natural copper ages to a green patina over time, never rusts and can be left out all year. The tops shown below are interchangable between the different sizes. The tops are thus sold separately (as priced below) from the trellis. Order a tellis and any top shown below to make your garden unique. And put lights on them for the holiday season! While you can order a trellis like any of the ones pictured, I make many variations as I am inspired. Let me know if you have some else in mind.

Dangley Tree Earings

Here some examples of the many dangley tree earings I make. These are about 24-28 inches long. I also make huge ones that are about 5 feet long (for big trees!). These smaller ones look nice in windows, by the front door, hanging off the eaves by a window and outside in the garden. Click on the pictures below for more detail.
