My Extended Family

My extended family can be easily divided up into two halves: My mother's side of the family, and my father's side of the family. We stay close to both sides, though geographically the two sides are fairly far apart.

My Mother's Side

My mother was the youngest of four children; she has three older brothers. They grew up in rural Kansas, and her brothers (and many of my cousins) still live in Kansas and Oklahoma. There was a substantial age difference between Mom and her brothers, so my cousins on this side are mostly quite a bit older than me.

My Father's Side

My father was the oldest of six children; he has four younger sisters, and a youngest brother. They grew up in northern Wisconsin, and all but one still live in the state. (The exception is now living in Illinois, not far from the border.) My cousins on this side are all younger than I am, giving me a pretty large spread overall (my cousins range from around 3 to 50 or so).

Their Web Sites

I'll let my relatives, at least those with web pages, tell more about themselves in their own words. There aren't many yet, though, at least that I know of. (If you're a relative, and you've got a web page I haven't listed, let me know!)
