Throughout my life, I have longed to write stories and poems that could evoke emotions in others. I suppose, after a fashion, this is a selfish act, for it makes me feel good to hear someone say how one of my creations has effected them. It is also an odd feeling to have literally reams of tales stored in your subconcious that you can't get out when the frustration that comes with writer's block bears down on you.

Over time, I've managed to get out only a handful of original creations. Many of my stories are of a fantastic nature; relying upon magick or hyper-science for them to function. However, I've also noticed that the best of them deal with people who are fractured souls ... people who are in pain or who have problems on a scale many times larger than themselves. I don't know what this says about me, but perhaps it's because my life has been rather good that I manufacture horrible things for my characters to experience. On the other hand, I have experienced some bigotry, racism and prejudice directed at me for being nothing more than who I am, so maybe -on some level- these feelings are what I'm tapping into.

Either way, not all my stories are here, online, as some of the older ones I have not yet transcribed to electronic media.
