What Services Does NEAR Provide?
Food
Individual
or families
in need may call (763) 533-2836 between 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. M-F for
an
appointment. Food pickups are
scheduled between
2:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. (MTWF) and 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m on Thursdays.
A 2 to 3 day supply of food will be given once every 30 days, if necessary.

Referral
For
problems beyond the ability of NEAR volunteers to handle, referrals
are made to the appropriate agency.
Holiday Baskets & School Supplies
Baskets
of food are given to less fortunate residents at Thanksgiving,
and
Christmas. Toys, caps and mittens are also given for the children with
the Christmas basket. NEAR also provides school supplies for
students as a part of a Back-To-School Program.
