How Is NEAR Funded?
NEAR receives
money and food from
the participating churches as well as from businesses, nursing homes,
hospitals, civic organizations and
individuals. We need non-perishable food items and cash
donations. All donations are tax deductible.

We need food packers and movers to work part of one day, every other week, part-time telephone answering persons and special event assistance. Volunteers typically work 2 - 6 hours per week and/or at holiday distributions.
