Another great job by Frank VanAlstine...just had my Hafler DH500 rebuilt into a VanAlstine OmegaIII..all the original Hafler boards are scrapped...keeping only the chassis,transformer,output mosfet(if up to spec)and the fan/heatsink.....the word is WOW!!!!! what a drastic improvement.....like cleaning the grey haze off the car windshield....the music has cleaner bass and it seems to go deeper and deeper like there is no limit to it's low end,smoother highs that also seem to reach into the strasosphere and the voice& midrange is superb...the thing is a bargain..kept me up to date on time frame and turn around times....great place to do with business with...great products,at bargain prices..consider Van Alstine FIRST...and last for super audio electronics

I have Audio by Van Alstine's Fet Valve 550HC, Fet Valve Preamp (RB), and the Omega III DAC. I have been listening to the equipment for over six months, and I'm still very impressed with the sound! The quality of the products are top-shelf. I auditioned several brands before I purchased the AVA equipmenent, but found nothing that came remotly close in the price range. I believe they offer one of the best values in the industry.

Audio by Van Alstine's equipment is worth a serious look!!

Bought their Super PAS 3 tube preamp (assembled by Frank's daughter). Wonderful product. Excellent service. Top quality parts. A phono stage and a discreet headphone for $599. Are you kidding!! Highly recommended.

highly recomened..the dyna pat-5 bi-fet upgrade kit is superb...added a dramatic!!!!! improvement to my system the highs are smoother...the bass deeper and more controlled. the kit is filled with quality parts and a consise and clear instructions pages. the kit i installed was the omega3 kit.it clearly showed how new improved circuit design can truly enhance the sound quality of a system that has other components that can alow the improved sound to be heard...van alstine is on my highly recomended list of quality ,and a fair and honest supplier.

I have dealt with Frank Van Alstine for over 20 years. I would not hesitate to deal with him. He is a straight forward, no nonsense personality. His equipment reflects this as well. He is definitely opinionated. I have only had to return 1 product, and received a prompt refund.
