Went out of business about a month ago. Stuck numerous customers and manufacturers. If you suffered a loss, contact you credid card company Disputes department of the Flemington,N.J. police department.

I ordered a receiver on the 4th of the month and was charged for that day and it never arrived even after waiting 10 days. When a called they said I needed to talk to Dave and to call back at 1:00. When I called back they said Dave stepped out so I left a message for him to call me back. He never called back. When I tried to reach them again all I got was a answering machine for two days straight. Called credit card company to reverse the charge on my card and filed complaint with BBB. Needless to say I took my business else were.

Ordered a H/K receiver and digital decoder in Nov. 98 from Joe Messina ( who make it sound on the phone that he is your best friend--anything to make a sale) They sent me a demo receiver with no remote or documentation and never sent the decoder. They never credited VISA after I returned the item sent. They made false promises and were rude on the telephone, It is now Feb 98 and I am hoping that discussions with VISA will result in a credit to my account, They are jerks!!!

I swear they told me one price and then charged me another. Also they said it would only take 4 days for the speakers to get here and it took 3.5 weeks. They blamed it on the shipping Co, and when I called the shipping Co they had no record of my order. I was thankful to even get the speakers.

They are OK if they have your product in stock. I asked them to quote me a price for a VCR. Kevin said he'd have to get back to me. He never did. I bought it elsewhere. A month later there was a charge on my Credit Card from Sound & Cinema! I called them immediately. They apologized and said they would credit my card right away. They didnt. I paid my CC bill less their charge and was hit with a finance fee for not "paying in full"!! I called them up and was furious. They were rude and arrogant. Go elsewhere

1.Overcharged me on an item and did not credit me the correct the charge for 3 months until I threatened to go to BBB.
2. Charged me for an item that was never sent to me (I cancelled before it was ever shipped).
3. Used profanity (extensive) when I called to question #1.

Told me that they were a authorized mailorder dealer for Paradigm and NHT. Also lied about the shipment date and said items were in stock when they were not. Sold me a Marantz remote in September of 1996 which I still have not received (cancelled payment on credit card in March of 1997). Very rude after the sale is made!
