Once deciding that I wanted a NAD512 single cd player I called three sellers--Alpine, Read Brothers, and Q Audio. I ended up buying from Bob at Q Audio because he convinced me that the new model 522 will perform at least as well as the 512 for a somewhat reduced price ($269 vs. $279). Also, he had the 522 in stock (which the others didn't) and same day shipping. In my two conversations with him he convinced me that he knows his products, the industry, and the market. I will definitely do business with him again but will also consult the other two--and perhaps buy from them if the price is right.

I received fast.courteous and friendly service. My emails were replied to both quickly and completwly. I found Bob friendly, courteous and knowlegable. The product was exactly as represented. I have bought several items from Q Audio over the years, and have been pleased every time. This is a great place to find unique items and great prices. I will shop there again.

I purchased a "B-Stock" NAD integrated amp from Bob at Q-Audio. The service was excellent and the product is not discernible from new in either appearance or performance. My experience with Q-Audio has been first-rate all the way.

On all three occasions in dealing with Q's owner, Bob, I found him cold, unfriendly and condescending.

I purchased a demo pair of speakers from Bob, who, along with two of his staff, told me I had 14 days to try them out and that I'd get a full refund if not happy. Via email, Bob then told me I had seven days to return them, though he gave me 14 when I protested.

Also, I've noticed that Bob prices used items listed on his Web site lower than what they sell for in his shop.

There is no shortage of good audio shops that treat customers with at least minimal respect and Q Audio fails to make the grade in this regard.

The products they advertise are represented in a professional manner. I orderd a Sony DVP-S7000 player and it was delivered when promised. Several months passed and I requested a copy of my receipt (which I lost) and Bob sent it to me right away. I have also sent messages via e-mail and Bob always answers in a timely manner. I would buy from them. I highly recommend them.

I cannot recommend Q Audio highly enough! As a composer with a better ear than wallet, I needed a high-quality receiver which wouldn't require me to take out a bank loan. Bob patiently answered my questions, assessed my requirements, and recommended the NAD 712 with a PP-1 phono preamp. All of this was done via E-mail and I didn't have to wait a long time for a response. Bob surprised me by selling me a new receiver for the same price as a used unit listed on his web site. I received the items one day after ordering them. I will definitely order any additional equipment I need from Q Audio; I'm not interested in even looking elsewhere!

Bought a pair of headphones, good price, from Charles. He was on another line and called me back (California). Charles was professional, took my order, and told me to expect my headphones in a week. Emailed after a week to say the headphones hadn't arrived. Charles responded with UPS number and information. The headphones arrived a day later. Would purchase again and recommend to other people. Although $8.50 shipping for UPS for headphones seemed a tad expensive.

Bob at QAudio was great. He answered my e-mail the same day I sent it, and not only was he genuinely helpful, he had the best price. I was unable to order right away, and two days later he sent me another e-mail to be sure I has gotten the first, since he knew I was in a hurry to get my equipment. When he was unable to ship the day I ordered, he sent it two day air at his expense. All for a small $200 sale. I highly recommend QAudio, I know they'll be getting more business from me!

A pleasure to deal with these folks (I dealt with Bob.) Here's the story. I wanted a starter system for my oldest daughter. Bob matched a demo price on the electronics I wanted, suggested a lower-priced CD player than the one I had tentatively selected (he carried both) and gave me a recommendation on a speaker he couldn't sell me. The equipment arrived in good order in 2 days, as promised. Then, I thought better of the idea and called Bob to tell him that I was going to send everything back; and he was o.k. with that. Not happy, but o.k. In the end, I changed my mind, gave my daughter the equipment I had bought from Bob. So everyone was happy. There are a lot of audio salon retail stores that would not have put up with this kind of grief from me, or any other customer. These guys deserve your business; give them a call.

Bob was very helpful. He didn't mind me calling every day to see if he had found my hard-to-locate order. He called me when he had news that the shipment was coming in to him, and when he shipped it to me, he was very helpful at emailing me the tracking number, etc (which was helpful since I was out of town.)

Great deal on demo ac-3 receiver that I couldn't get anywhere else for even close to there price. Sales staff didn't really go too far to help me out or have a friendly attitude (they weren't rude, just indifferent) and it was on my dime...
Would use them again if I need electronics. Shipping is UPS slow and expensive (Fed Ex is on your account if you have one).
