Everything that could have gone wrong, did. Placed order for Energy Take 5 with ES-8 sub. Saw nothing after 2 weeks. Kevin indicated that they had lost the order when they moved. Said he would send it. 2 weeks later, still nothing. Apparently it was sent to a customer of theirs in AZ. Kevin said he would send it as soon as it got back to him. 2 weeks later, still nothing. Says he sent out another unit via 3 day UPS. 5 days later I had nothing. Cancelled the order and disputed the charges on my credit card. The next day it arrived. I had to turn it away since I officially disputed the charge. After all of this, I was also afraid what would have happened if there was a problem with them. By the way, thru-out this whole ordeal, I NEVER received a call from Kevin (even when he said he would call me back). Also, several times the phone would go unanswered for days and email would not be returned (although he did answer a couple of them). On the plus side, he did credit my card promptly.

Ordered a pair of closeout Wireworld cables from him - delivered promptly, great price, etc. No problems at all and no hesitations in ordeing again from him.

Dealt with Kevin on an attempted purchase of Energy e:XL 26 speakers. Got a great price and they were immediately available from his distributor. I call back the next day and had picked them up but was having trouble with his credit card software. Fine. I try back two days later and he tells me that he will no longer be an ENERGY because he got in a disagreement with them (Unclear whether ENERGY or its distributor). He said my speakers were being returned back to the distrubutor and that was that. I'm glad I called so I didn't wait around for a purchase that was never shipped. Poor customer service for lack of a call to advise me. Nice guy on the phone though. Luck of the draw....

I ordered a pair of Wireworld Eclipse II speaker cables. My card was charged but nothing was sent. I called, Kevin sent the cables and charged my card again. I called to get a credit for the first charge. He said he would fix it but did not. Now he won't answer my email. Stay away, this guy is not reliable.

Ordered A Cal Audio CD Player From Keven. It was out of Stock and as soon as it arrived Keven notified me and Shipped. Got Ok and everything worksfine. Took 3 weeks. Gave me a good price. No Problems here.

Kevin was nice to deal with but his customer service seems to be lacking. It took me four months to get a receipt for my purchases. I was told repeatedly that it was in the mail. He told me before he went to Europe that I had another bridge coming for the rack that I bought: haven't seen it yet. I'm trying to be optimistic, but I think it is clear a lot of what he says has not taken place. Nice guy, but a bit short on the customer end.

Mixed feelings about ECS. Kevin's a knowledgeable and pleasant guy to deal with. He gave me a good deal on some demo speakers and threw in some high quality cables, BUT he accidentally charged my AMEX card twice and did not ship manufacturer's warranty details or manual with them. Despite repeated requests over nearly 2 months, still no AMEX credit (they are getting annoyed with him too) and no warranty/manual and now he's buggered off to Europe until the end of October. I would probably deal with him again but he really has to improve his customer service/responsiveness. Sorry Kevin but I am trying to be objective and constructive.
