Beware that while CSW says that they have a 100%
satisfaction guarantee, they don't like you to use it! I
purchased a set of Ensemble II speakers from them and they
did not fit my room and were not video shielded. I
returned (at my own shipping expense) and exchanged them
for a set of Ensemble III speakers which were fine.
About a month later I was in their store in Ptld, ME and
bought a Marantz remote control. The remote did not
control my Sony DSS like they told me it would so I
returned it for refund.
About 6 months after that I went back to the same store to
purchase a set of speakers for my PC. They REFUSED to sell
to me since I had returned two products within a year!
Buyer beware.

Placed online order on Sunday evening...received Ensemble
speakers via UPS on Tuesday (I paid no extra for this). I've
also purchased computer speakers from them. Products are of
high quality for a low price!

I returned a Cambridge Soundworks Unit to them, one I had bought around
last Xmas and it failed just 3 weeks b4 this Xmas. I was called on the
27th Saturday at 9:00 in the morning by a technician who told me that
there was nothing wrong with the unit I returned. I asked him if he
looked at the return form and work order and he said that he had and
that he had run his "scopes" on it and found nothing wrong with the unit.
I asked him if he had actually plugged it in and listened to it, he said
he hadn't, and began to tell me how there were "limitations to the unit
that I would know if I had read the manual".
I told him I read the the manual and knew the limitations full well, this
technician said that I didn't - that I must have read them later on, and
went on to say that I shouldn't abuse the unit.
The long and short was, I was accused of blaring hard rock music for
long hours by this technician - who then told me he was going to do me a
giant favor by sending me a whole new unit in its place.
I wouldn't even want a free one from these people after the crap this
person put me through. I told him I was pissed and that I knew where the
President of the company could be reached and he said "Oh yeah, where?
Go ahead and call him"
The moral of the story is, depending on how much you may spend with these
people, measure the amount of arrogance and abuse you can give and take
with them vs. how much cash they can take from you. My advice, a good
deal if it never breaks, otherwise you will be in for a ride. I'd never
do it again, no matter how good the equipment is.

I own an all Cambridge Soundworks surround sound home
theatre. I accidently tore open the cone on my center
channel plus. I called them about having it repaired at my
exspense. Even though I told them that I did it, and was
willing to pay for the repair, they sent me a brand new one
at their exspense under the ten year warranty for all their
speakers. Also I didn`t evev buy it directly from the
company. I bought it at a Best Buy store.

The only thing one should buy from them is their speakers.
And they are Wonderful!
I bought a pair for home (seven speakers for AC-3 setup) and some for work.
A real good group; knowledgable, friendly, and not pushy.
They charge too much for other stuff.
ASK if theyre running a sale as they usually are and if they can throw in speaker wire for free-
they usually will. They charge too much for electronics.
