Every one that has commented on the crappy service from
these folks is dead on the mark...Joshua told me that he had
a Sony STDR-DA80ES sitting right next to him and that he
would send it out immediately. A couple of days later, I
called and talked to the person in charge of 'shipping
department' and she said that the item I ordered was on
back-order and that it would be a couple of weeks till they
could get them. What a crock!

Classic "Bait & Switch." Fradulent business practices.
They advertise prices far below others, but (in my opinion)
will never deliver the items advertised. Instead, they give
the hard sell for other products (with a higher profit
margin, I'm sure). I have a recording of them telling me
that if I'm going to contact the BBB, they choose not to do
business with me! Then they insulted me, told me "not to
hold my breath" waiting for my order, and finally told me
that are cancelling my order and will not sell me the item
advertised. Stay away.

I ordered an SFX-M video mixer. The man on the phone said it
was $529.00...I said I wanted it shipped next day
air..express, this was on a Wednesday, in the morning. I
actually needed the item for someone's birthday the folowing
monday...plenty of time huh? He said that to recive it by
Friday it was $36.00....I said fine....so that's $565.00.
Thursday, no package. Friday, no package. They did not ship
it nextday air...he marked it for ground shipment....1-7
days. He knew perfectly well what I said, he charged me for
air, yet marked it for regular ground shipment. $36.00, for
ground shipment. I called and complained, they said
"everybody makes mistakes"! I said, "well apparently you
make a lot of them because people are complaining about your
service"! she said...her name was Grace, however she had
none, she said "Then why did you order from our company!"

When I first called Coast to Coast to order a camera, I
thought I was in for a treat just because I was talking to
someone that actually spoke english. He took me right
through the sale, tried to push a tamron, sigma, etc. but
I was insistent on Canon products and he closed the sale.
That was a month ago. Where's my camera? How come it
never showed up on my credit card? What a jerk this guy
was. I can see him now... "I'll just NOT order this since
this guy wouldn't buy a sigma lens."
Don't ever order from them. Ever!
I have even called them various times to check on the
order. They have never found the order and never return
any of my calls even though I pay long distance fees to
call them.
They should be put out of business.

I wish I'd read your site before ordering a $400 item from
Coast to Coast. They overcharged my Discover Card by
$16.00 from what was quoted over the phone. Discover sided
with them when I disputed the charge. I've bought at least
ten thousand dollars in audio and computer equipment mail
order in the last 5 years from a lot of mail order vendors,
and have never had a single billing problem--until I ran
into Coast to Coast and Discover Card. My Discover Card
has been cut into tiny pieces, and Coast to Coast will
never receive my business again.

Said they had merchandise they didn't. Said they sent
merchandise they did not send. They canceled my order.
Charged my credit card and did not enter into their customer
service data base. Did not return my calls, they said they
would call. Had to dispute charge with credit card company
to get charge taken off my account. Best to record all
telephone conversations with this company.

Do not order from these people!! They are completed idiots!
I ordered a DENON AVR 3600 through them almost 4 weeks ago.
They charged my credit card in advance and
told me it was shipping every time I called.
Finally I gave them one more week. They never Shipped the unit.
I had to dispute the charge with my Visa company.
Do not order from them. Beware!!

I called them Sunday of last week inquiring about a Toshiba
TV (by model number). They (joshua) insisted they had it
in stock, for $900 less than the street price. I had him
put me on hold and verify with his manager that they really
had them and that was really the price, which he did! I
thought the deal was too fishy and bought it elsewhere (One
Call).
So I called back this week, got another salesperson, asked
for the model number, and surprise, they don't even carry
them!

Want to recommend Coast to Coast Camera to everyone. The
sales staff will actually talk to you, and the prices
are hard to beat. I recently purchased a Pioneer CLDV-870
and a Yamaha RXV890 from them and the merchandise arrived
on time and worked great. I recommend them highly.
