I worked with Glenn Bienstock at The Cable Company for well
over two months searching for speaker cable. Glenn was
great to work with and was extremely helpful in arranging
evaluation cables directly from the manufacturers since I
needed at least 15 feet for my setup.

Incredible selection (especially of high end cables and
interconnects. Prices are good, but nothing to write home
about. Whatever you do don't order any Monster Cable from
them unless you are an extremely patient and forgiving
person.

A mixed review. Good advice but often sell at full list
price. They have an annoying habit of promising to
call you with information on the progress of your order
but one salesman, Paul, often doesn't.

I dealed with The Cable Comp. several times in the last few years (6 to 7,
don't remember exactly) and always found them nothing short of perfect.

Nice to deal with up front, but a HUGE pain when they screw up your order.
In a single order they sent the wrong stuff, not enough stuff and defective
stuff. After weeks, I called to talk to the manager and was just given
another salesman posing as such. Try them at your own risk!!!

The Cable Company gave me a very sincere sounding yet
apparently slick run around on a refund for returned
defective goods. Received repeated assurance that the
credit would be issued "first thing tomorrow morning",
but eventually had to send the credit card company after
them to collect.
