Very Highly recommended. Bob is helpful, responds promply to phone calls and e-mails. He is honest about whether he can sell you the equipment via mail/phone order. He tries to understand your particular situation and makes recommendations. He also anticipates your needs and makes additional recommendations which is great for both you and him. This is what I call a win-win situation which is rare in the consumer electronics world.

Went with Bob because of his postings on the various audio newsgroups as well as the favorable comments here. Could not have been more satisfied. Had a defective Lexicon unit (from the factory) and he handled the return with no problem. Cannot recommend him highly enough!

Add me to the list of very satisfied customers who have dealt with Bob. Extremely friendly and very helpful. I just purchased a Genesis 900 subwoofer from Avalon. Upon receiving the sub, I called Bob with some questions regarding the hookup to my processor. Although Bob is familiar with my processor, he didn't know the answer and took it upon himself to call the manufacture. His response to the situation was immediate. This is what I call customer service. And this attitude will definitely lead me back to Bob for more future products. I recommend him highly.

It was a pleasure to buy from Avalon A/V. Number one, the price was exceptional. Bob was also very responsive to my questions, answering within a day of my E-mail to him. I purchased an Acurus 200x3 amplifier and it arrived at my door in perfect shape within one week. As has been mentioned, Bob does not misrepresent his products and his "to-the-point" answers to my questions were appreciated. Yet another thumbs up for Avalon A/V.

Bob responded extremely promptly to e-mail price inquiries, and was both knowledgeable and friendly when I spoke to him on the phone. His prices were good, and he even beat a closeout price from Audio Advisor when I mentioned it to him. Everything arrived exactly when he said it would and in perfect condition. Bob gave me a lot of suggestions and advice over a three month time period. At no time did he push a product on me; he just stated what he knew from experience and let me decide. I bought several pieces of equipment from him and got good support. The right preamp out on my Amfi receiver died and he helped me by sending me his demo unit while mine went back to the factory. I didn't know anything about interconnects and he sent me some inexpensive ones to try out - I liked their build quality and decided to buy them, but I didn't get a bill for them until I asked for one a month later. He also stays out of the muck-raking in rec.audio.opinion and sticks to trying to help people.

Bob @ Avalon provided excellent service and was very knolwedgeable about his products. He sent me a DIA 100 on trial, and when it didn't deliver the sound I was looking for, graciously accepted its return and sent me the Aragon 8002 and 28k in exchange. Good prices too! Would recommend him to anyone who asked.

For those who have ANY reservations about doing business via mail order or over the net, put them aside RIGHT NOW! I had the opportunity to visit Bob at his house/store. He goes above and beyond, setting the standard by which all other dealer SHOULD be measured! 3 months "after the sale", I received a letter from him...enclosed was a copy of a review that he couldn't find at the time of the purchase...I had even forgotten I had asked for it!!!

i bought cables for a complex hometheatre system from bob. he helped me to design the system. as it is difficult to get a sound level meter in europe he bought it for me privetly and send it to me great guy.
