Ordered an Sony DVP_S300, Phillip very courteous. However the player arrived without double boxes and not factory sealed.

I put a lot of hours into choosing components and finding the right place to purchase them. Print ads, chat rooms, and this forum, among others, offered me a lot of input, and it all paid off with my experience with Audio Excellence.

I bought a Yamaha DSP-A1 integrated amplifier and a Pioneer DVL-909 DVD/LD/CD combination player from these folks. They offered good prices, well below their REPUTABLE competition, and got the pieces out to me in two days flat (without any exorbitant shipping charges), double-boxed, in perfect condition.

I've been using them for a couple of weeks now, and have no complaints about either component -- or about Audio Excellence. I would use them again, and I recommend them to you.

I purchased the Take 5 system w/ ES-8 for $695, including the wall mount brackets. Excellent price, but more importantly, excellent courteous service. I talked to Arthur who answered all my questions and who wasn't the least bit pushy. Speakers came on the day he promised, double-boxed, factory sealed and in perfect condition. Recommended.

I wanted B & W 602 speakers from this store. They kept telling me they will get their shipment soon and suggested I call in daily to check, I called them everyday for 2 weeks, and I got the same story. They lied to me telling me they are an autorized dealer. I then found out they are not.

Ordered Yamaha DSP-A1 (at a great price!) from Phil who was excellent to work with. Special shipping via FedEx was accomodated with no problem. Unit was shipped same day I called, came double boxed, factory sealed and arrived 2nd day as promised. Other staff were also very friendly when enquiring about tracking number information, etc. I will definitely order from them again!

I purchased a Yamaha RXv-2092 from them not long ago. I was very pleased with their service, the guy recognized my name because I had e-mailed them the day before for info (to which they responded quickly). They beat the local stores price by about $300 (after shipping), and the unit arrived on schedule, double-boxed, perfect condition. I am very pleased and plan to order again.

Ordered a Yamaha DSP-A1 through Phillip. Good price. Had it UPS ground shipped from New York to California. It arrived right on schedule and was double boxed without my having to request it. Box was factory sealed and everything was in perfect order.

Being accustomed to dealing with abrupt, discourteous New York City photo dealers, I was pleasantly surprised with Phillip's courteous, professional manner. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Ordered a Yamaha RX-V493. At $309, was almost $100 cheaper than local retailers. Very polite and excellent service. Receiver arrived 1 day AHEAD of schedule. Item arrived in A-1 condition and was double boxed and factory sealed, just as they said. No hidden charges (I confronted them about a 3.5% upcharge, and they denied any knowledge of such activity). Would highly recommend to anyone interested in good equipment at good prices. Talk to Phil.

Ordered a Yamaha RXv-793 A/V Receiver on late Tuesday received it on Thursday. I am VERY satisfied with Audio Excellence and would order again from them. This receiver is a brand new model from Yamaha and very hard to get. Audio Excellence had the receiver for $599, a full $200 off of list. Shipping was also reasonable at $20, fully insured and double boxed. Call them anytime and ask for Phillip.

Called Audio Excellence to order a Yamaha CD Changer CDC-765 (listed on their web site). Guy told me that the model had been dicontinued and not replaced, tried to steer me toward another model. Emailed Yamaha about it, and they said that that was bogus, its a brand new model and in short supply.
