I've dealt with them only once, but I had an excellent
experience & would gladly deal with them again. I was
having trouble getting J&R to fill a back order for a
Technics SLP-987 or 997. (J&R was out of stock. Whenever I
called the salesman at J&R to see if it was back in stock
yet he told me they has 200 on order and he would let me
know as soon as it was back in stock - and that I should not
call him - but he never got back to me even once - not even
after J&R started advertising the item again.) Eventually,
following 7+ weeks of waiting & waiting for J&R, I saw an ad
from Advanced Video Systems advertising the unit - at a
price lower than J&R. Advanced Video Systems was out of
stock too, but while I was on the phone, they called
Technics, confirmed with Technics that 10 of the units was
still available in Technics' warehouse, had Technics send
one of them out, & I had it in hand on the West Coast via
UPS within 10 days - and at the lower than J&R price. (Not
suprisingly, I never did hear back from J&R...)
