Nathan Mates's Personal Info PageThis is the webpage intended to give you a short summary of who I am, etc, as if the rest of this website wasn't clue enough. All the time, I try and be a Christian. Nobody's perfect, especially someone like me, so if you notice something amiss in my practicing of it, feel free to email me. For those who care, I've tested to be an INTJ on the Myers-Brigs test. In case you give that any credence, the INTJ FAQ has a bunch of points about personality that most INTJs follow. I don't agree with all of it, but I'd agree with it more than not. Update 5/5/2004: I've posted a list of blogs I read. Updated 9/19/2003: I decided to create a list of CDs I own (but no commentary.) Updated 9/7/2003: I decided to create a list of DVDs I own with some commentary. My daytime (and evenings, and sometimes all night as well, bleh) occupation is a videogame programmer. By way of some blatant plugs for products I'm working on or have worked on, my current employer is Pandemic Studios where I am working on the netplay code for Battlezone 2 for the PC. Information on the previous (i.e. currently available) version of Battlezone can be found on Activision's web site, though I had nothing to do with it. I'm a unix-using geek, and so I should have a .plan file. I do now, and made a webpage that's automatically built from it. See it here. My previous employer was Adrenalin Entertainment, also working on videogames. I worked on Brunswick Circuit Pro Bowling and Ten Pin Alley, both bowling videogames. [And really didn't want to work on bowling game #3, so that's one of the main reasons I left.] Before Adrenalin, I was an undergraduate at the California Institute of Technology studying Computer Science.
