Plan:
Job: Network Programmer, Battlezone 2, developed by Pandemic Studios http://www.pandemicstudios.com , published by Activision http://www.activision.com [Note: in this, I am *NOT* speaking officially for either of those, I'm only speaking for myself.]

12/30/99: Nice 'short take' (i.e. more of a first impressions, versus a full review) of BZ2 at http://www.gonegold.com

12/24/99: 79 degrees Fahrenheit here in LA at 3PM on Christmas Eve. Who's got the keys to the orbital weather control satellites so I can actually get some dang *weather* here. They're still stuck in summer mode as far as I can tell.
12/23/99: Atomic number 79!

[Ok, that means we've gone gold. See http://www.pandemicstudios.com/bzii/ for more info -- announced by Joseph Donaldson on the BZ2 Discussion Board section]

12/21/99: Those of you watching my board pictures at the official BZ2 discussion boards off http://www.pandemicstudios.com/bzii/ may notice a few more pictures in the pipeline. I've also edited a few to comply with the 100-pixel wide limit, and changed the picture cycler to show them in random order (via a shuffle) rather than in order. Hope you folks enjoy the changes...

12/7/99: Top 10 Rejected BZ2 Multiplayer map names

10. Totally flat terrain with no powerups
9. JDA's Revenge. Oh wait, that's a DR2 map that BZ2 shouldn't ship with.
8. Nobody told me we need any level terrain for a strategy map
7. It's 3AM and I can't think of a name
6. Black tanks driving on pitch-black terrain with no radar
5. Pandemic's Offices (filled with surly animals)
4. Operation Desert Storm.
3. Console Game Pea Soup Fog-O-Rama
2. Nobody told me about scrap either on a strategy map
1. Nathan's first attempt at a map
0. You are in a maze of twisty tunnels, all alike

12/2/99: And that message board is back. Have fun.

Using my root access to the Pandemic webserver, I've reconstructed the Top 10 message threads lost during the recent UBB Upgrades:

12/1/99: Yes, Pandemic Studios's message board is pretty much offline today and yesterday. Nick Punt is upgrading stuff, and it's not an instantaneous process.

This is the 709th access this week, and the 2569th access since February 10th, 2000.
