LATEX CADDIS

HOOK:   Mustad 37160 sz16
THREAD: Green under body, black for head 
BODY:   Latex Strip 1/8" wide 
RIB:    Krystal Flash embroidery thread (wire rib can be substituted) 
HEAD:   3 Peacock Herls wound in the thread

1. Wind the green thread to the hook bend.
2. Tie in the rib and the latex strip.
3. Wind thread 3/4 shank length up and create a tapered body.
4. Wrap latex over body and tie off. Clip excess.
5. Reverse wrap the rib over the latex and tie off. Clip excess.
6. Start the black thread at the eye and wind back to the green thread.
7. Tie off and clip the green thread.
8. Tie in three peacock herls.
9. Wind the herl in the thread and wrap the head.
10. Tie off the herl and whip finish the head.
