Hook:   Mustad 3906B size 10-14
Thread: Olive Uni-Thread 6/0
Tail:   Lemon Woodduck
Rib:    Brown floss or tying thread
Body:   Muskrat or gray dubbing
Wingcase: Lacquered white tip turkey
Thorax: Same as body
Legs:   Brown or gray partridge
Tying instructions

1. Tie in tail of woodduck flank feathers.
2. Attach brown floss or doubled brown tying thread for rib. Leave hanging.
3. Dub a slightly tapered body of muskrat or gray dubbing about 2/3 of hook shank.
4. Tie in lacquered turkey feather for wingcase where body ends.
5. Dub a rounded thorax of slightly larger diameter than body, leaving about one eye-length of shank clear.
6. Tie in partridge feather barbs for legs divided style. (Tie in on top of shank, divide in half and pull down toward side of thorax.
7. Pull wingcase forward over thorax and legs and tie off.
8. Whip finish a neat head.
